POSITION – Project Engineer

LOCATION - SYDNEY, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our growing team as a full-time, permanent team member. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the early success of our company and contribute to advancing our groundbreaking hydrous Bio-Graphene Oxide admixture and DIGITAL AGGREGATE products.

You will work closely with your colleagues in a hands-on, innovation-driven setting, while also taking ownership of individual responsibilities to develop, test, and bring cutting-edge technologies to market.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Manage installation and demonstration of technologies at concrete sites.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interfacing.
  • Ensure the success of technology demonstrations by recording all data and developing case studies.
  • Support research initiatives where applicable.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, with at least intermediate-level experience in Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise reports, as well as other technical documents.
  • Strong ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines with urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and convey the αlterβiota mission to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, and to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Concrete QA/QC and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of concrete materials and mix design.
  • Understanding of computer vision and machine learning concepts.
