Position Overview:

Bretoba Contracting is seeking experienced Red Seal Journeymen and Lead Hands across all trades to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals with experience in high-quality residential and light commercial projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of their trade from rough-in to finish, oversee apprentices, and contribute to estimating through quantities and material take-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee high-quality trade work in your area of expertise

  • Lead small teams and coordinate daily site activities

  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

  • Plan, coordinate, and complete material take-offs and order lists

  • Maintain high-quality workmanship standards and precision

  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades

  • Ensure compliance with all codes, safety, and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Red Seal certification (required)

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with residential and light commercial projects

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Wage Range: $32-38 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Hours: 50–55 hours per week
