Description

The Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation is seeking a compassionate, dedicated and organized team player to fill the role of Communications & Development Coordinator. This is a full-time, 1-year term position, with potential to renew.

The Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation (CBRHF) is an integral part of health care in Cape Breton, helping to eliminate barriers to health care for Cape Breton – Unama’ki. As a registered not-for-profit since 1985, the Foundation has worked in partnership with the community to raise multi-millions to purchase priority equipment, fund facility upgrades, provide patient programming, and more for the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and Cape Breton Cancer Centre.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Marketing & Communications, the Communications & Development Coordinator will assist with a wide range of projects and activities to support the mission of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, including coordinating and creating daily social media content and providing general communications and marketing support. The Communications & Development Coordinator will also serve as the first point-of-contact for the Foundation’s Healthpark office, providing administrative, donor relations and stewardship support to the team.
