Front Desk Supervisor - Job Description – NOC 62022

 

  • Coordinate, assign and review the work of hotel front desk operations for all Front office staff.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
  • Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Oversee room assignments, billing, and reservation accuracy using the PMS.
  • Monitor and improve guest satisfaction through feedback and service standards.
  • Conduct shift reports, cash handling, and administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
  • Promote hotel services, upsell upgrades, and encourage loyalty program sign-ups.
  • Ensure front desk procedures align with security, privacy, and company policies.
  • Work hand in hand with Hotel Management to ensure smooth operations and expectations are met of the department.
