First Choice Sewer Inspection & Drain Cleaning Ltd. is a fast-growing and highly respected company serving the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and surrounding areas. Positions Available

  • 3rd & 4th Year Plumbing Apprentices
  • Red Seal Journeyperson Plumbers
  • Licensed Septic System Installer (minimum 3 years experience)

Key Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of work, including:

  • New home construction plumbing
  • Full home and bathroom renovations
  • Residential and commercial service work
  • Hydronic heating systems (oil and electric boilers)
  • Drain cleaning and video inspections
  • Robotic CCTV inspections of sewer and storm infrastructure
  • Trenchless pipe rehabilitation (CIPP – no-dig technology)
  • Septic system installation and design
  • Excavated sewer and water installations

This role offers diverse, hands-on experience across multiple areas of the trade.

Qualifications

Plumbing Applicants:

  • 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Red Seal Journeyperson
  • Active apprenticeship (if applicable)
  • Ability to work independently (Journeyperson level) and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 considered an asset)
  • Clean driving record

Septic System Installer:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience installing septic systems
  • Valid septic installer license (proof required)
  • Log of completed installations
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
  • Equipment operation experience considered a strong asset
