Description
Cape Breton University is seeking applicants interested in joining the Finance team as a Print Shop Clerk. This position will be on a casual basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the University’s Print Shop by providing high quality printing related support and services to various departments, faculty, staff, and students of the University community in an efficient and professional manner. The incumbent will also provide day-to-day support in the operation of the University’s Mailroom.
Physical
Demands:
This position requires walking, extensive standing, bending and lifting (boxes, mail bags, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Print shop training and/or computer
course.
- Minimum six (6) months related work
experience.
- Proficiency in the use of
computerized systems and databases with the ability to learn updated
and/or new software quickly, along with technical aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills, and the ability to work with University employees.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to work individually and in
a team environment.
- Must have strong organizational
skills.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
