We are a locally owned and

Municipality, Port Hawkesbury, and Antigonish, Nova Scotia, looking for a
skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a
hands-on role responsible for keeping our restaurants running smoothly through
electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and electronics maintenance and repair.
This is a rare opportunity for
someone who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in solving problems
independently — and who isn’t afraid to travel between locations across Cape
Breton and mainland Nova Scotia.

Perform electrical repairs and routine maintenance on

(fryers, grills, refrigeration, HVAC, etc.)

preferred
•
Experience with commercial kitchen or restaurant
equipment a plus
•
Basic plumbing knowledge
•
Comfortable with electronics and general technology
troubleshooting
•
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work
independently
•
Ability and willingness to travel between our three
locations
•
Strong problem-solving skills and a “get it done”
attitude
•
Valid driver’s license required
What We Offer
•
Competitive annual salary based on experience
•
Quarterly performance bonus
•
Health care benefits

•
Stable, long-term employment with an established local
franchise
•

Why This Role Is Special
Our outgoing technician has
been with us for over 31 years and is a wealth of knowledge across all aspects
of our restaurant operations. The successful candidate will have the unique
advantage of working alongside him through to his retirement in early fall,
allowing you to learn our equipment, facilities, and systems firsthand. This
hands-on knowledge transfer is something most jobs simply can’t offer, and we
believe it sets the right candidate up for immediate confidence and long-term
success in the role. We are looking for someone who values long-term commitment
and wants to build a lasting career with a well-established local business.
