The Department of Mathematics, Physics & Geology in the School of Science & Technology at CBU invites applications for a full-time Lab Instructor, Physics at the rank of Lab Instructor. This position will commence in January 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching labs in support of our Physics courses and be responsible for maintenance and management of Physics lab equipment. There is potential to teach labs associated to Calculus and Statistics as well as the occasional delivery of Physics courses at the introductory level.
The minimal qualification required is a bachelor's degree in physics with teaching experience at the post-secondary level. However, the department of Mathematics, Physics, and Geology gives strong preference to candidates with a master’s degree in an area of experimental physics and direct experience in maintenance/management of experimental equipment.
