invites applications for a Mailroom / Print Shop Clerk to join our team
in this full-time continuing position.
As
an essential part of the University’s day-to-day operations, the successful
candidate will help keep information, materials, and services moving
efficiently across campus. This position is responsible for coordinating
incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries; supporting
University shipping and receiving activities; and providing day-to-day
operational support to the University’s Print Shop.
Key
Mailroom & Receiving
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail,
packages, and courier services.
- Sort and distribute mail and deliveries across the University.
- Prepare shipments, estimate postage, and operate postage equipment.
- Track missing or time-sensitive shipments and liaise with couriers
as needed.
- Manage university mailboxes and keys.
- Receive, record, and distribute incoming goods and materials.
- Prepare receiving and month-end billing reports.
Print Shop Support
- Operate photocopiers, printers, computers, and
related equipment.
- Prioritize and complete print jobs efficiently and within
deadlines.
- Provide cost estimates for internal and external clients.
- Produce and finish a variety of documents, including course
materials, exams, forms, and correspondence.
- Bind, laminate, and prepare documents as required.
- Report equipment issues and provide Print Shop coverage when
needed.
Physical Demands:
Requires walking, standing, bending, and lifting (boxes, mail bags, etc).
Qualifications:

Completion of High School Diploma
·
1 year of related experience is considered an asset
·
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computerized
systems and databases (MS Office and Email) with the ability to learn updated
and/or new software quickly required
·
Ability to work quickly and accurately with
attention to detail
· Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including good customer service
