- Support policies and procedures: Work with ownership to develop and improve workplace procedures and help communicate, train, and support employees in their implementation.
- Promote and grow the business: Support social media and website updates, build positive relationships with customers, prepare for seasonal demands, and work with ownership to identify opportunities to strengthen the business.
- Pitch in and perform other duties as assigned to support the continued success of Doucette's.
- A minimum of three (3) years of previous management or supervisory experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and support the team is required.
- Previous experience in retail, grocery, hospitality, food service, or a similar customer-focused environment; restaurant or kitchen experience is a strong asset.
- Experience with inventory management, purchasing, receiving, and supplier coordination, with an understanding of stock and waste control is required.
- Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, financial administration, or other day-to-day business financial processes is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with food safety, employee training, workplace policies and procedures, merchandising, and seasonal operations is considered an asset.
