WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A 4TH CLASS STATIONARY ENGINEER

  • Credentials - Certification to operate within the Province of Nova Scotia
  • Terms of Employment – April through November, with opportunity for full time, year-round employment.
  • Anticipated start date – April 1st, 2025
  • Location – Neil’s Harbour, Cape Breton, NS
  • Accommodations - Company facilities available
  • Work Setting – Seafood Processing Facility
  • Salary – to be negotiated
  • Benefits - group insurance (dental & drug) plan, AD&D insurance
  • Specific Duties – operate high pressure boilers, monitor and inspect plant equipment including pumps, compressors, cooling towers, motors, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, water treatment, and pneumatic controls. Perform routine maintenance, clean and lubricate machinery and components. Trouble shoot, perform corrective action, minor repairs as required. Maintain a daily log of operations, assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures. Ideally suited for a semi retired engineer wishing to work seasonally.
