Description
We are looking for a full-time Physiotherapy
Aide to join our growing team! We
are a newer clinic with a wealth of experience that is focused on delivering
patient-centered, high-quality care. You
will be an integral member of our team and will provide support to our healthcare
professionals, patients, and other stakeholders. You will play in integral role in
establishing a positive environment and experience for our patients and your
fellow co-workers. You will be expected
to do so in a friendly and professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet patients upon arrival in clinic and provide a knowledgeable,
professional and friendly experience for all
- Checking on patients during their treatment session
- Scheduling appointments in-person, by email, fax and by phone using
the EMR
- Collecting Payments
- Answering phone calls, emails, and faxes
- Handling client questions or concerns
- Assisting healthcare staff in the setting up and taking down of
patients, both in treatment rooms and in the gym
- Helping with clinic laundry
- Assisting with cleaning and sanitization of the clinic
- Maintaining confidentiality with regards to client records
- Other administrative and front desk duties as needed
What you need to be successful
- Previous work experience as a Physiotherapist Aide in a
rehabilitation clinic setting is considered an asset but is not required
- Demonstrate a caring and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking
- Time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong computer abilities would be an asset – knowledge of MS
Excel, MS Word, MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to take and follow direction

Salary: $18.00 per hour
