Description
Position Title: Crossing Guard(s)
Status: Spare/Casual
Department: Cape Breton Regional Police
Bargaining Unit: CUPE Local 761
Reporting to: Sergeant, Traffic Safety Unit
Salary: $15.75 per hour (until June 30th, 2025)
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the safe crossing of children at designated crossing
areas. Works on a day-to-day basis as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
· Must have own reliable transportation within CBRM.
· Must be dependable and available for work.
· Must successfully pass Criminal Records Search including Vulnerable Sector Check.
