Description
La
Provence bakery is a small local owned business, that strives for quality
products and a good atmosphere.
The
Supervisor will be working closely with the Owner and Baker. As it is a small
business, everyone is polyvalent.
This hopefully will be a full-time position year-around (might be part-time off-season), 3 weeks training then be able to work independently by end of August 2025.
Job responsibilities of this position, but not limited to:
- Supervise daily operations to ensure a
seamless workflow
- Lead, mentor and manage FOH team
- Serve customers (take orders, handling the
till/payments, bring their dishes, flatware and other items to serving
areas, clear tables, refill display… etc)
- Perform other duties to assist baker(s)
- Prepare sandwiches and ingredients needed
- Ensure that hygiene is maintained at all times
- Clean kitchen and work areas (clean tables,
wash dishes, garbage, sweep, mop…etc)
- Ensure quality of products meets established
standards
- Make coffees using an espresso machine (will train)
- Keep track of supplies stock level
- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure
smooth operation of the café
- May oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods

Education and Experience:

Experience
in hospitality industry and fast-paced environment

French
food knowledge an asset

speaker and/or another language an asset
