Position: Wildlife Park Attendant

Job Overview:

Two Rivers Wildlife Park is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Wildlife Park Attendant to join our team! This role involves maintaining park facilities, assisting with animal care, and ensuring a great experience for wildlife & park visitors. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, can lift up to 50 lbs, and has a passion for animals and nature. Carpentry, general maintenance skills, and heavy equipment operating are considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily animal care routines, including feeding and enclosure cleaning.

Maintain and repair park facilities, trails, and structures (carpentry experience is a plus!).

Perform general park maintenance & upkeep such as landscaping, waste disposal, and snow removal.

Interact with visitors, answering questions and providing information about the park and its animals as required.

Support event setups and activities as needed.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for both animals and guests.

Adhere to all safety and animal welfare protocols

Qualifications & Requirements:

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.

Experience or strong interest in working with animals.

Carpentry, construction, or general maintenance experience is an asset.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
